On September 29, 2014, Porto City Council presented Porto’s first city graphic brand. It was named “Porto.” and unfolds in the corporate identity of the municipality and its municipal companies. The brand “Porto.” won international awards, such as a Graphis (New York), a “pencil” from the D&AD Awards (London) and two “gold” trophies at the European Design Awards (Istanbul), in the Branding Implementation and Best of Show category, in 2015. Currently , the brand is seen internationally as a case study of success in city brands, being presented all over the world.

Soochy Lab

Since 2022, Soochy has been the official design partner of the Porto Municipal Council, being responsible for the design and implementation of communication actions for the “Porto” brand. In close collaboration with the Municipal Department of Communication and Promotion, through the Brand Management Office, SOOCHY has been providing support in such emblematic actions as the launch of the TIC (Terminal Intermodal de Campanhã), campaign of the Best City Destination in the World at the World Travel Awards 2022; The celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Luís de Camões, and many others. It has collaborated both in terms of branding and editorials, as well as providing content for the city’s network of digital billboards for the various actions and initiatives developed.
